D R E A M

I find myself looking for a way out. The blazing sand beneath my feet hurrying me along to no escape. There's no entrance way, no signs, no path, no anything! Stumbling along I see off in the distance an oasis, with a waterfall as high as the eye can see. I run towards the euphoria in the desert, when suddenly my feet disappear from under me. I was caught in quick sand! With all my might I try to climb out of the sinking sand. To drown in a desert, just my luck. I began to think of my life choices that led me to this moment. What did I do wrong to end up in this misfortune. I began to sob, tears ran down my cheek falling into the sand. I cried until I couldn't anymore, and at this point I was waist high in quick sand. In a daze of shock and dismay I was ready to give up, but I couldn't. My mind kept working to find a way to freedom, my legs and arms kept fighting to stay above water (in the non-literal sense). To my surprise I pulled my body up to safety, barely escaping a sand covered grave....

Then I woke up.



Things get difficult in life, so difficult you just want to break down and give up. But don't. Find the strength to carry on, because it's in you. You don't have to find it or go to the gym to obtain it. Its within you, and has been all along.
